Senior Software Engineer (direct hire) Boston, MA $100-110K + bonus

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Boston-based Engineering team in enhancing and supporting their corporate B2B website

The position will be a significant contributor in a team of engineers, focused on delivering quality software spanning topics as diverse as auction, analytics, reporting, document management, CRM, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop desktop and/or web-based applications using .NET technologies and SQL Server 2008
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering on product requirements and design
  • Document and test application features and enhancements Required Skills and Experience
  • Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience
  • MS in Computer Science, or BS with equivalent experience
  • Web application development with ASP.NET, DHTML, CSS, Javascript
  • MS SQL Server 2005/2008 (TSQL, Stored Procedures, etc.), including ability to write optimized, efficient queries
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with XSLT, Java, C++
  • Hands-on experience developing AJAX-based Web applications
  • Experience with relational database design
  • Experience administering Windows 2008 Server, MS SQL Server 2005/2008 and IIS 6/7
