Senior PHP / Database Engineer (Direct Hire) Boston, MA – $110k+

Devonshire Recruiting and Consulting Partners is seeking a senior-level database engineer with passion for web development as well. Our Boston-based client offers a full-time, salaried role with lots of opportunity.

We are currently open to ALL levels of talent working with PHP and MySQL, although highly desired that applicants have prior experience engineering and/or implementing a home-grown content management system. Our client has both internal and external business needs that require a robust CMS to manage and grow the current company’s success.

  • Minimum 3+ years database and web application development
  • E-Commerce Experience is preferred

Required Skills;

  • Expert knowledge on the back-end working with database technology – i.e. Databases – MySQL, SQL Server; Staging, Replication, Production, Development, and QA environments
  • Strong middle-tier and client-side technologies experience; PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, IIS, SVN
  • Libraries/methodologies – OOP and JQuery
  • Documentation – ability to gather client requirements, design, and write-up specification documents
  • CMS knowledge – open source tools, WordPress, Joomla, Sitecore, etc
