Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Direct Hire) Burlington, MA – $85k+

Devonshire Recruiting is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for our North shore Boston-area based client. Our client plays in the space of business software and supply chain management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5-7+ years working manually with software quality assurance
  • Comprehensive ability to write, execute and maintain test scripts and test cases
  • Product and release criteria expertise
  • Basic understanding of QA automation and willingness to explore opportunities to implement/use the technology in a small development environment
  • Past experience working with Product Management and Professional Services teams
  • NOT be afraid of customer support issues + management as a small TEAM needs all-hands on deck at times. Be a problem-solver!
  • Web-based and enterprise software and other product testing experience
  • Being able to work with SQL, comprehensive database knowledge preferred. More than just writing a basic query or stored procedure. Including Web Services
  • Any virtualization experience is a huge plus
  • Come with a desire to write documentation
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
